Three rules for visiting a sick person In the hospital. by:mr.Alajmi
In my country, there are three rules that we need to follow when visiting a sick person in the hospital. First, we have to call her/him before visiting because they may be resting, sleeping, or having other visitors. Then we should visit her/him. Second, we should bring something to drink or flowers when visiting the sick person. Ingeneral, we bring coffee or orange juice to the hospital because we belief that these drinks can help the patients feel relaxed. Additionally, flowers make the patients feel better . Lastly, once the patients is good to leave the hospital, we should take her/him home made food. This is one of the great ways of expressing our selves to how we take care of the sick person. As we do care about friends or family members who might be ill and stay in the hospital, we should use those three rules I mentioned above. By trying to follow these three rules, we can better respect someone who is ill in the hospital in may country.
Some of politeness rules in Saudi Arabia by Ahmad Alsuwailem
In my country Saudi Arabia, we have many rules of
politeness. For example, when I go to visit my friend in his house or his
parent house, I should bring a small gift or some food with me. First, when I
go in the house, I should greet the oldest. If he is a man I should kiss his
head and hand, and ask him about his health. That shows how I respect him. But
if I greet a woman I should kiss her head without touching her or shaking
hands. Second, it is more polite to sit at the end of the room not close to the
door. It is more polite to keep speaking and smiling all the time. When I sit
at the dining table, I shouldn't start to eat until the oldest start eating. Finally,
before I go, I should ask my friend to visit me in my house. That was some of
the rules which everybody agree with or everybody did in my country.
Rules when we meet someone By Sthefany Urdaneta
In my opinion, we need to be
polite all the time. When we meet someone, for example, we have to say “Hello”,
our name, and “Nice to meet you”. We need to look at their eyes when people say
their name, and we have to shake hands.
Other example, if we meet someone, we have to say “How are you?” and
then “Nice to meet you” “My name is Sthefany”. The other person will say the
same. We have to be careful, because it’s impolite when the person says their
name and we are looking in another direction. It’s good to know these simple
rules, because we want to make a good impression when we meet someone for the
first time.

3 Rules to Deal with Your Parents
By
Ghazwan AL Hashimi
I want to teach my daughter how to deal with her parents in Iraqi
culture. Respecting them is very important. It is good behavior when you do not
say rude words. You should not sit while they stand up. you should kiss their
hands. When I said these words , my daughter asks “Why should I do that? ” My
answer is “ If you do that with your parents , then your son will do it with
you.” I saw how my father dealt with his
parents. My grandfather had a store where my father helped him with his work. He loves his parents so
much and respects them. I do my best to be polite with my parents as well as with my grandmother. I hope I am good example for my daughter.
