Chinese Civility by Mars

China is a traditional country. In Chinese culture, civility is very important. When you first go to your friend's home you need to bring a gift. This gift maybe inexpensive, but this is polite. Table manners are very important, at the table you can't use chop sticks to knock on the bowl because it is very impolite for the other people when you are eating. For example, when you are with your parents, cousins, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and so on having dinner, your grandparents should take food with chop sticks first. If you feel so hungry that you need to eat first, you must ask your grandparents. If they agree, then you may eat. You must use polite words to address your elders, you can't call them by their first name because that is very impolite. Being polite is very important in my traditional county, please remember this.
